Es esa maravillosa época del año. Otra vez. Los Oscars 2015 están a la vuelta de la esquina y previo a la ceremonia que tendrá lugar el próximo 22 de Febrero en Los Ángeles ya conocemos los nominados a alzarse con el galardón.

Algunas curiosidades de las nominaciones:
La parte más controvertida de la lista son sin duda las nominaciones a mejor película: Birdman es más discutible, pero lo de The Grand Budapest Hotel no se entiende y además huele a batacazo serio como le pasó el año pasado a American Hustle (10 nominaciones, ningún Oscar).
Que Foxcatcher esté nominada a mejor Director, mejor Actor, mejor Actor secundario, mejor Guión pero no a mejor Película demuestra un poco la absurdez de todo ello.
El (genio) de Alexander Desplat se lleva dos nominaciones a mejor banda sonora por dos películas distintas (The Imitation Game y The Grand Budapest Hotel). Raro sería que no acabase subiendo al escenario.
Las más nominadas: Birdman y The Grand Budapest Hotel con 9, The Imitation Game con 8, Boyhood y American Sniper con 6 y Whiplash, Interstellar y Foxcatcher con 5.
Meryl Streep tiene ya 3 Oscars y con esta 19 nominaciones a los Oscars. Casi nada.
Las grandes derrotadas, sin nominación: Jessica Chastain y Amy Adams.
Sorpresa para la (divertida) nominación al Everything is Awesome de LEGO: The Movie. Que no esté, sin embargo, nominada a mejor película de animación nadie lo entiende.
Gone Girl sólo se lleva una nominación por una magnífica Rosamund Pike (esta mujer comenzó en películas de Mr Bean, lo suyo es mérito). Notable la ausencia de la nominación a la banda sonora de Atticus Ross y Trent Reznor por Gone Girl.
Interstellar no está nominada como mejor película, se lleva 5 nominaciones menores. Sorpresa para muchos pero no para la Academia, que suele alejarse de estas películas que o amas u odias.
Ni Christopher Nolan ni David Fincher, dos olvidados frecuentes por la Academia, están nominados.
Sorpresa del bueno de Clint con American Sniper que ha entrado a las nominaciones de mejor película por la puerta de atrás y casi sin avisar.
