La ceremonia en la que se han anunciado las candidaturas se ha celebrado en el Teatro Samuel Goldwyn de Beverly Hills, y ha contado con la colaboración de los cineastas Guillermo del Toro, Ang Lee, y John Krasinski. La ceremonia de entrega de los premios tendrá lugar el día 28 de febrero.
